EVE stands for “Emergency Volunteer Effort“
From time-to-time, we recieve requests for urgent assistance from partners in our community.
These needs come from social workers in the community, and typically require rapid collection (2-3 days) and distribution of a very specific list of items to assist neighbors in a crisis situation (typically these are people suddenly and unexpectedly transitioning from a difficult situation into a new living arrangements – accidents, homelessness, fire, abuse).
